Clear communication through email where he met all of my needs, extremely fast in completing the mod process and even faster delivery. I’ve recently used XernUK to fit a modchip for my LCD switch. Door to door turnaround of around a week with regular updates provided. Some additional support also offered once received. Very well packaged for return of the switch, would absolutely recommend anyone to use the same service!

I don’t normally leave reviews. This is because so many people provide perfectly adequate service, but nothing ‘special’. Xern, however, I strongly feel deserves a review because at every point they provided above and beyond quality service that, for me, stood out head and shoulders above the norm. For context, I have had a long career in customer service, so have gained a feel over many years about whether a person is genuine, wants to help, and enjoys what they are doing. In my opinion, Xern is as close to ideal/perfect for the service offered that I’ve ever experienced. I had two Switch consoles I wanted to have modded. One of them was actually a botched mod attempt and now didn’t work at all. Xern talked with me about my needs and gave me the confidence to send my consoles to him. This initial conversation was important as there are so many instances of bad operators. Next, I was kept up to date with progress, including photos, which was very much appreciated. I got the feeling that he very much enjoys this work and the challenge of sorting things out. The work was done far faster than I had anticipated, and the two consoles came back in only a few days. Now, for this next bit, I should be clear that the issue was user error (me!) and not Xern! One of the consoles appeared to have an issue. I spoke with Xern and felt that they were genuinely concerned about this rather than just seeing it as an annoyance. A return label was quickly provided for me, and again, the issue was identified quickly and resolved – despite it being me at fault (bad SD card) and not Xern. I had a good, friendly conversation with Xern during this time, and he couldn’t have been nicer and more understanding about what was effectively my own stupidity. This is important as I feel that many companies would have been far less understanding and helpful during this process. I now have two wonderful modded Switch consoles (both v1) which my son and I are having lots of fun with. So, thank you, Xern! Would I recommend Xern? Hell yeah! They are FULLY deserving of a 10 out of 10 review for all aspects of the process: quality modding service, quality communication, quality speed of turnaround, quality response to issues. Finally, I took my time to post this review. I felt it was worthwhile waiting and seeing if a little later I still felt the same rather than it being a knee-jerk review. I’m happy to say that now, a month later, I feel exactly the same – 10/10 top, top company to deal with! Thanks you, Xern! 🙂

Choosing Xern as my modding service of choice for the 2 switches I have had chipped has been an absolute dream, communication with me has been world class, and sets the standard for customer service, turn-around times are really quick, and with consistent updates from Xern about the process, and included postage tracking I have complete peace of mind my switch is in good hands both with Xern and during postage. I would 100% reccomend this service to anyone looking to get a switch modded in the safest and quickest way possible!

Absolutely wonderful service, the bloke was very very polite and helpful with any questions and he had also modded my switch within 2 – 3 days! Which is extremely fast! Also uses tracked 24 when he sends it back which is amazing! I have loved what my switch can do now thanks to this amazing service! I would highly recommend to anyone that has a switch, thankyou very much!!

I recently had a dat0 issue from a previous install from another installer on my daughters existing OLED switch. I couldn’t contact the old installer and went on the search for someone to help me out. This is when I found xernuk. They were able to correct the bad install and even replaced the pico chip at no extra cost which was amazing. All through the installation I was kept up to date and as I have a real interest in console repair the technician was very helpful at asking my questions. Above and beyond customer service. Very professional on all levels. Trusted service recommended for all. Thank you.
